A pale pink sparkling rosé with fine, lively bubbles. Wild strawberry, raspberry and red currant lead, then grapefruit and citrus peel brighten things up over a light mineral line. The fizz keeps the fruit tidy, so it drinks fresher than its sugar suggests.
Region: Germany
Sweetness: Medium-Sweet (33.3 g/L residual sugar)
Body: Light
Key ingredients: Dealcoholized wine, concentrated grape must, carbon dioxide, sulfites.
Good to know: <0.5% ABV. Made by Weingut Leitz, based in Rüdesheim in Germany's Rheingau. The wine is fermented at full strength, then the alcohol is removed by gentle vacuum distillation to keep the fruit. Some sellers call it dry; at 33.3 g/L it sits in our medium-sweet band, and the bubbles make it taste drier than it measures. 20 calories and 4 g sugar per 4 oz (120 mL) glass. Vegan. Contains sulfites.
How to enjoy: Serve well chilled in a flute or white wine glass. Good with brunch, a cheese board, salmon or strawberry desserts, and made for a garden toast. Reseal and refrigerate after opening; finish within 2 to 3 days.
Swizzle's Take: We pour this one for brunch toasts and cheese boards, any time the moment calls for pink bubbles without the alcohol.
