Two bold spirits that shouldn't work as well together as they do. Kava Haven brings bright lemon, gentle earthiness, and the tongue-tingling bitterness of kava root. Three Spirit Livener counters with tart watermelon, pomegranate, and a subtle heat from cayenne. Meyer lemon syrup and Orange Cardamom bitters pull it together — citrusy, spiced, and just complex enough to keep you interested. Top it with sparkling water and you've got a long, refreshing afternoon drink with a gentle lift. Livener brings about 55mg of natural caffeine per serving. The name earns itself.

You'll add yuzu juice if you have it — it's not in this bundle, but the drink holds up without it.

What's inside:

  • Three Spirit Livener (botanical spirit, 500ml)
  • Kava Haven (kava-infused alcohol-free spirit, 750ml)
  • Portland Syrups Meyer Lemon Syrup (12 oz) (not pictured)
  • All the Bitter Orange Cardamom Bitters (2 oz)

Recipe: Combine 1½ oz Livener, 1 oz Kava Haven, ½ oz Meyer lemon syrup, and 5 dashes Orange Cardamom bitters in a shaker with ice. Shake briefly. Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice. Top with 3 to 4 oz sparkling water and stir gently. Garnish with a lemon wheel. Recipe from All The Bitter.

Why this works: Bitter and spicy flavors usually amplify each other into something too intense to enjoy. Here, they balance. Kava Haven grounds the drink with earthiness and citrus while Livener lifts it with fruit and heat. The bitters and syrup do the fine-tuning.

Alcohol-free • 0.0% ABV • Vegan • Gluten-free
