Position: Contract Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator (Local, Approx 5-10 Hours/Week)

Swizzle Market is a non-alcoholic bottle shop, cafe, and curated retail space based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We offer a unique mix of zero-proof beverages, functional drinks, and artisan goods from local and emerging brands. As a community-centered concept store, we host events, tastings, and workshops that bring people together around intentional, inclusive experiences.

We’re looking for a local contract-based Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to help us deepen our connection with current customers, grow our digital presence, and drive both in-store engagement and online sales through strategic, brand-aligned content.

We’re looking for someone who brings both creative instincts and digital marketing know-how. This role requires real experience managing brand social media accounts—not just personal use—and an understanding of how to use content to drive measurable results, ideally for a retail, lifestyle, or hospitality brand.

Core Responsibilities

Weekly Content Development and Execution

  • Plan, schedule, and post social content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
  • Promote store events, featured drinks, new products, and vendor stories
  • Write engaging captions that support our mission and tone
  • Ensure timely promotion of in-store happenings and calendar milestones

Visual Content Creation

  • Create social graphics, reels, and stories using Canva or equivalent tools
  • Capture content on-site (retail moments, customer features, behind-the-scenes, event coverage)
  • Ensure brand consistency across all visuals and layouts

Community and Revenue Growth

  • Support campaigns that increase store foot traffic and online conversions
  • Help grow and engage our social following in ways that reflect customer needs and interests
  • Leverage Meta Business Suite to boost content, set goals, and reach targeted audiences

Platform Coordination and Reporting

  • Monitor reach, engagement, and follower growth across platforms
  • Report on performance trends and offer recommendations for ongoing improvement
  • Maintain a consistent posting cadence and adapt as priorities shift

Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Swizzle leadership on weekly priorities
  • Track promotional needs based on product launches, vendor partnerships, or event timing
  • Contribute new content ideas, trend adaptations, and platform-specific strategies that align with our values

Qualifications

  • Experience managing Instagram and Facebook business pages, with working knowledge of TikTok content strategies
  • Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools
  • Comfortable using Meta Business Suite for scheduling, boosting, and reporting
  • Familiarity with Shopify and Klaviyo is preferred but not required
  • Clear understanding of social selling, audience development, and content-driven brand growth
  • Located in or near Fort Wayne with the ability to capture content in-store as needed
  • Organized, reliable, and capable of working independently while staying in close communication

Compensation

  • $20/hour + Commission or bonus opportunities based on sales attributed to social media campaigns (specific terms to be discussed based on project scope and performance)
  • Contract role: estimated 8 hours per week, with flexibility and potential to grow
